Consent cannot be given when someone is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or unconscious. 

Pressuring someone through coercion, intimidation, and threats is also sexual violence.

What exactly is sexual violence?

  • Sexual assault and rape

  • Sexual harassment and threats

  • Incest 

  • Child sexual abuse

  • Unwanted touching

  • Exposing someone's body to others without consent

  • Watching someone else engage in sexual acts without their consent

  • ​Nonconsensual sharing of images

  •  Using technology to generate sexual images or videos of someone without consent
